The 1x6 Atoma Diamond 400 by Jende is a medium grit plate. It is best used after sharpening with the 140 grits to clean up and prepare the edge for further refinement from the 600 and 1200 Atomas, or to transition to waterstones or natural stones in a progression. With many pocket knife and even kitchen knives using abrasion resistant steels and ceramic materials, diamonds are the one guaranteed abrasive to work through everything with ease. The 1x6 Atoma diamond plates made by Jende Industries are secured to a standard 3mm thick aluminum blank which is compatible with any standard JIGS for Knives, Edge Pro, Hapstone, and TSProf Sharpener stone holder, and can also be used as slip stones, field stones and pocket stones. Atoma Diamond plates can be used dry, or with water.
